Charities That Have Caught the Heart of Pre-Press Plus:
At Pre-Press Plus Printing Machinery and in our personal lives as parents we believe not only in giving back to our communities as an act of kindness, but as a matter of obligation. We have been blessed in so many ways and are so fortunate to live int he greatest country in the world, so we feel honored to be able to help organizations, charities and people that hit close to our hearts.
2008 - The Page Family of Lowell, MA. Once again the Red Sox Ticket Raffle allowed us to raise nearly 17,000.00 for a fund set up for the three daughters of Firefighter Kelly Page who passed away at the age of 38 in his firehouse in Lowell, MA.
2007 - The Forbes Family of Pembroke, NH. We traded Red Sox Playoff tickets for a pair of New England Patriot tickets to a December game with the Dolphins so that we had time to run a raffle and raise funds to help a couple with serious health issues so that they could furnish their apartment with commodities allowing them to move around.
2007 - The McLaughlin Children's Fund - We are currently in a fundraising mode to raise money for a family of seven children; five of them aged seven or under, who lost their mother last month just after giving birth to her seventh child. When we started this project our goal was $10,000.00. On April 14th, 2007 we handed the family a check for 23,920.00 and we are still moving forward. This is a foundation that we will support with some of our sales in 2007 and beyond. The photo below shows my wife Lisa and my three children with Keith McLaughlin and his seven children on April 14th, 2007

Pre-Press Plus and the Keefe family plan on future projects to help this wonderful family.
2006 - Friends of Shedd Park - Our company with the help of a large list of donors raised 12,000.00 for the renovation of a park where I grew up in Lowell, MA in the memory of a lifelong friend Joe Geary, who died in 1986. Joe had worked at the park for many of his teenage years.
2005 - Katrina Victims - Pre-Press Plus donated $1,000 in September 25, 2005 to the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. This contribution was double matched by Thompson Financial with whom my wife Lisa works.
2001 - NAMI - We in conjunction with a great group of friends raised 3,500.00 for this great organization in memory of a life long friend of mine , Joe Hogan, who passed away in 1998. |
